University of North Texas The North Texan

Another year is in the books, and here at UNT, it's been better than ever. We welcomed our students, faculty, staff and alumni back to the fold this fall with our full campus reopening. We were delighted to report record growth in research productivity. And our stellar reputation for supporting student success led to a record enrollment of more than 42,000.

Of course, we know none of these milestones would be possible without you. We are thankful each and every year for the amazing people who comprise our UNT community, and your commitment to making our campus -- and the world -- a better place. Here's wishing you a wonderful conclusion to 2021 and an even more outstanding 2022!

Nothing brightens our holidays more than hearing from our readers. Have a story you think we should know about? Email us at northtexan@unt.edu.

Celebrating Together

Like falling snowflakes, every member of the UNT family has followed a different path to form unique talents and perspectives, and we celebrate the beauty of those differences as we come together to build a university that sparkles and shines. There's something here for everybody, and if there isn't -- you can make it!

Great Grads

For these students, the walk across the stage to accept their degrees was just the latest step in their path to greatness. They've served in the U.S. Army, advocated for people living with disabilities, conducted society-shaking research and survived tragedy -- and through it all, always kept their goal of earning a college degree front and center.
