Cover Story
Learning to Fail
UNT is preparing the future leaders of tomorrow, not only through the education received in the classroom, but beyond. That starts the day they step on campus, as students explore their interests and career opportunities through career readiness seminars, including navigating the resources available to them while they study. Students also have access to three comprehensive career centers on two campuses, dedicated career coaches and designer degrees where they build their own program of study. "Instead of just going into it blindly, UNT does a great job at providing these resources for us so we're ready," says Arsalan Nazari, a senior in the project design and analysis program at UNT at Frisco.

State of the Union
The University Union celebrates its 75th anniversary this year. North Texas' first Union was housed in a repurposed Army surplus center and the Memorial Student Union building was dedicated in 1949. The current University Union, which opened in 2015, is awash in Mean Green pride. Share your Union memories with us at northtexan@unt.edu.
