A phone's complexity and growing data content are becoming a key to solving and preventing crimes. UNT's New College at Frisco, an offsite instructional facility, will house the criminal justice program's new digital evidence lab to help police examine the contents of cell phones. |

The criminal mind: a math problem? |
A UNT psychologist is contributing to our understanding of mental illnesses. Craig Neumann recently used a mathematical model to measure the brain activity of prison inmates with psychopathic tendencies. He found a reduced amount of gray matter in the system of the brain that governs emotion, motivation and saliency.
